MOTOR MOUNT
Aluminum motor mount assembly. Aluminum was milled, drilled, and tapped to print specs. Pocket was added to provide clearance for electric motor.
LAMINATE E-FRAME
E-Frames were finish ground to a working tolerance of .0002. Parts were then lapped to engineered specs, polished, and de-burred.
BRONZE CASTINGS
Castings were milled to provide a symmetrical aesthetic as well as proper form and function for customer. Tolerance is held within .002" from ground face perpendicular to reamed hole.
BUS BAR
Bus Bar was turned down to engineered specs. I used a miller to put a 5/8" hex on far end of product. They were then deburred and polished before plating.
3.750X5.250 GPO-3 SWIVEL PLATE
Plate was milled and ventilation applied, per OSHA standards, whenever we're cutting fiberglass. Clearance for .375 Carriage Bolt was milled and holes were drilled per engineered specs.
SLIDING ASSEMBLY
Sliding assembly made out of stainless steel. Plates made out of A2 tool steel to meet tensile strength demands. Used to test steering column collapsibility in case of car accident on GM vehicles in the US.
